Comparisons were made here between the waveguide performance of this speaker and that of the JBL M2.

While the M2 wg is available https://reconingspeakers.com/product/jbl-m2-horn-lens-5025594/ apparently the 4367's wg was never issued (or cloned?)

But might there be a JBL or other wg which very closely duplicates its measurements? If so, what driver throat exit size is it designed for?

I bought the last 4367 WG and now I have only one… I was hoping to clone it but I haven’t been successful so far, got distracted by the ATH4 gazillion options… And no source for the 2216Nd-1 :(

I've always been extremely intrigued by this waveguide and how it would perform compared to my M2s. Its really too bad it isn't available anymore for all intents and purposes.

It would be great if we could 3D scan one so we could use programs like the ATH to model its behavior and learn from its design. I myself am more interested in learning than anything else. I haven't kept up with tech in this space, are there decent and reasonably priced 3d scanners that could make a reasonable model? Anyone know?

Kravi4ka, in theory you could create a mold from the one you have and make fiberglass copies for DIY'ing speakers with them. Lots of examples on diyaudio.com of people using this technique.

Haven't followed too closely, but isn't the 2216Nd-1 version similar enough to the one available through The Speaker Exchange?

I will try to find someone who could do it again, wasn't possible a few years ago. ATH4 is what makes me dream of an even better WG, there has been a lot of discussion on how JBL has moved away from those weird profiles in the newer speakers. The 4369 now is following the same trend.

I haven't seen the 4369's WG photo in enough resolution to tell if it differs significantly. Haven't you read anything about it?

Haven't heard anything so far, few people know about it. but from what I see it is in line with the recent designs missing the beaks that made the M2 so distinctive.

Interesting. It looks cool. I like that it is a bit taller than the 4367. The proportions look nice.
