"As many albums produced today also in this one one shall find a slight emphasis in the lower midrange. This makes sound richer but the differentiation of this part of the range is not particularly great"

gotta love these "remasters" ... all too often the digital versions suffer much the same fate.

Btw, I've heard the M2s on a couple occasions. Have not heard the 4367
Any good? Everything takes ages longer to appear here than there and always more expensive to boot!
Keith.

Thomas what keen eyes you have!
We tried those here, and sent them out to a couple of friends to double check, didn't appear to make the slightest difference.
BW Keith.

More or less the same thing!

Less.

I'd call the M2 a two way bi-amped DSP'd active speaker with outboard electronics vs the 4367 passive plug something and play.

that album review within the supplied link ... have you heard it?

My bad Anthony; I've read your post too fast. I fixed my above posts.
No, I've not heard it, but I'm going to check right now (sampling) to see if I'll get his CD. :)

I'm glad he like them, because they probably eat most audiophile speakers for breakfast, but I can't say I have a ton of faith in any reviewer who summarizes with such nonsense:

"Summary

The way many top class loudspeakers shape sound might be compared to milling a particular shape from a large block of, say, aluminum. JBL, Harbeth, but also Audiomachina achieve similar final results but using different means – the sound is rather extruded than milled. While milling, layer after layer is taken off while getting the final shape. Extruding means filling in the space that represents instruments. This process delivers more natural sound that one could really feel and not just hear. But at the same time it means that sound is not as resolving."

I can dig a metaphor as much as the next guy, but in that last sentence, he seems to almost take himself seriously, and even points to a result of this "process." Like, as a result of having a herd of unicorns in my back yard, my grass is fertilized with rainbow poop? "More natural sound/less resolving?" And JBL 2-way horns are like Harbeths? How's that work?

These guys just make this stuff up, huh?
