JBL 306P MK II Review (Studio Monitor)

Sorry if I caused any confusion.
Seems to me, he makes his own decision when hard data is absent.
When hard data is available, the decision is made based on the data
That’s what I meant.

I would like to see these tested with the matching subwoofer. I bet most of the low frequency distortion issues would go away. Thanks again!

These were my first powered speakers. I got them and used them for a bit, but then got curious and moved on to a couple other models, lastly the KEF LSX, which disappointed the heck out of me. I've just reinstalled these, and kick myself for ever trying to "upgrade."

My colleague and I listened to a pair of Genelecs 8341 (or was that 8351?) at around 70dB SPL at a pro audio store. Afterwards we both agreed we still preferred my 305P at our office. We talking about something like a 2300% price differential here.

So you preferred your office listening space to that of the store, got it :D

If the room is such a dominating influence then it even makes less sense to spend so much on expensive speakers.
