Rapping trumpeter "Dizzy" Gillespie back in the 1950s (1952?) with the two famous tenor saxophonists "Sonny" - Stitt (first heard) and Rollins (later heard) - recorded together their styling of the popular song "On The Sunny Side of The Street". Original album liner notes described Gillespie's ploy to get the two to record with him thusly:
