Blue in Green solo work is as elite as it is equisite. When we lost Charlie we lost a giant among men. A gentle one I might add. He played this tune at my request when I was 18 years old 32 years ago at the blackstone hotel jazz showcase in Chicago. Let's say he built upon that tune quite a bit since that night.
