I have settled in with Klipsch of late, since 2005 for my HT. I have had ELAC, Klipsch, and JBL, along with various center channels.

When I was in high school, I had a couple of pairs of Acoustalinear speakers (house brand for Sound of Music audio stores in Minnesota which expanded a bit and became Best Buy).

Later, I had...
Infinity RS-5000
Radio Shack 8" 2 way design from their Building Speaker Systems book
NHT Super Zero
NHT Super One
NEAR 15M
NEAR 10M
Gallo Micros
NEAR Boom II Sub
Platinum Audio Studio One
Ellis Audio 1801

Then, I started to design my own....

Wharfdale 12.0s

Everything else has been DIY
Amigas
Fusion 8s
Volt 6s
C Notes
Copperheads
CSS Criton 2TDXs (and non Xs)

I think that's all of them that have a name.

And many forgotten I'm sure..

I've built various speakers many years ago. Both bookshelf, floorstanders, but especially subwoofers.

I've had many crappy models when I was a teen but there was some gems along the way as well.

Wow. It’s re assuring to know that after reading these lists of speakers owned by the ASR members I’m not the only sicko in the world when it comes to audio nonsense. So here is my list starting after college. Anything before college was pure junk and not worth listing since it was pre 1980.
Polk. r7 I think still got em using in my office
Radio Shack Mach ll . Still got em rebuilt and sound wonderful, awesome walnut boxes.
Tyler Acoustic Linnbrok Signature 2 pc. Awesome speakers
Miller & Kreisel studio moniters and small sub
Tyler Acoustic custom dual 15” sub with Acoustic Elegance drivers rather large.
Main speakers in my listening room are
Revel Salon 2 LR
center custom Tyler Acoustic
surround Moniter Audio Gold

subs 2 Monolith 15 THX and the Tyler acoustic beast
assorted random stuff
Mirage center channel
M & K old walnut dual cabinet bookshelves, use these in my bedroom
M &k sub
moniter Audio Bronze for kitchen
JL sub
klipsch towers they have left the ranch
several DYI efforts, most I have given away to buddies who could give a shit
velodyne sub
Maximus tiny metal cabinet speakers that still surprise me
After the acquisition of the Salon 2’s I think I’m done!

Well, although my list for instance appears to be long it's still over a long period of time and lot of these are not bought new, so they've been cheap experiences which one must have in order to find the right answers.
