I have B/W 600 S3 tower speakers hooked into a maranatz 50 cinema . I had these speakers for awhile so I know what they sound like. Previously I had it hooked into an integrated amp and it sounded great but now I want to create surround sound so I moved it to the Marantz 50 cinema and it feels like I have to turn up the volume to like 70 to get it loud and the bass is lacking and in the past it sounded fine. I did the set up with audyssey and everything

I bought Audyssey app and I don’t fully understand it other than getting readings with my mic.

Any help would be awesome

Also, I made a post earlier and I thought it was deleted so this another post- sorry about that

Try this:

1. Disable "Mid-Range Correction" in the Audyssey app
2. Using the curve editor, add a +6dB shelf at 20 Hz, tapering off to 120 Hz

1. His curve indicated there was a mid range dip without Audyssey so it might be better to leave MRC on but that would be a matter of personal preference and he may prefer either way.

2. I think so too, and that should get him back some "volume".
