I have a pair of ELAC DBR62 Debut Reference speakers which I use in a nearfied/desktop setup at approx. arm's length...they are currently raised 1.25" on some foam stands/blocks designed for small monitors.

I sometimes listen at fairly high levels (86 dB average to 89 dB peak, per free Android phone app), at which point the desk top vibrates/resonates (I can physically feel it if I touch it)...so I'd like to both raise the speakers closer to tweeter-at-ear level height (~6" stands) and decouple them more from the desk top, so I don't sense/hear it vibrating.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

I use Yoga Blocks under my Yamaha HSA-8. The desk doesn't vibrate. Cheap.
