ISO ECHO Darla, Mona, Gina or Layla-24 host adapter cards & cables

From the interface vendor ECHO, specifically the PCI bus (or Cardbus!) cards shipped with the above 24-bit interfaces, also the DB-9 cables

Anyone have one or more of these?

not those compatible with the OG previous 20-bit versions, nor the later "3G" models.

The breakout boxen are commonly and cheaply available, but they apparently won't work like Behringer ADA8000/8200 as "standalone" ADAT expansion.

Connection to a host via proprietary DB-9 cable and these adapter cards is required to initialize the driver/firmware and app routing/DSP settings at boot up.

If the above is untrue, do please correct me!

It seems owners over the years have been losing track of these components, why the breakout boxes are selling so cheaply ;-D.

Are there members here who might have any, sitting unused in storage ?

Echoaudio interfaces came in three generations.
The first generation (Darla, Gina, Mona, Layla) had 20 bits resolution and PCI legacy card.
The second generation (Darla24, Gina24, Layla24, Mia) had 24 bits resolution and PCI legacy card.
The third generation (Gina3G, Layla3G, Indigo, IndigoIO, IndigoDJ) had 24 bits resolution. 3G interfaces use a PCI 3/5 V compatible card (also PCI-X compatible) and Indigos have an expresscard connector for portables.
The first two generations have all electronics on the PCI card and they have a very thick cable that connects to the external box. 3G interfaces, instead, share the same PCI card that connects to the external box through a VGA-sized cable. Most electronics is inside in the external box.

I own a Gina24, a Gina3G (I'm still using it) and an IndigoIO.

I do not understand what are you trying to do.
3G interfaces cannot work without their external box.
*24 card might work (not sure) but they are useless because the Toslink connectors are optical, so the external box is required anyway.

Please note that *24 cards use a PCI classic 5V only card. Few recent motherboards have such a slot, if any.

Sorry I was not clear.

Only talking about the x24 generation cards.

Not just PCI, but CardBus as well which were used on old laptops, either will do, both would be ideal.

And ofc the proprietary DB-9 cable is also required.

And yes, their only conceivable purpose is exactly what I want them for.

I am only looking for purchase sources, 99% sure that will only happen if an individual owner pops up saying "I have one I'm no longer using".

I already know all the rest you posted, not looking for further discussion on those details.
