Aliexpress 'recommended' this to me.

Are they insane? A few Li-ion batteries in a plastic box and a pair of test leads. To vaporize PCB tracks and smoke up iPhones? I had to laugh. Check out the video.

It basically is a battery providing a low voltage (3.7V or lower) with a very high current that burns away 'solder whiskers' etc.
Maybe... just maybe useful in PCB production but a microscope and scalpel is what I would use.
One would need to know a lot about the circuit before contemplating using it.

The probes in the Pic are too coarse.
Drawing pins (thumb tacks) would be more accurate in my deeply considered, thoroughly tested, view.
Edit:- Not forgetting the shielding and extra leverage they provide.

The big question is, will it knock the No1 since late 2016 off the top spot?
