Can someone tell me what kind of speaker does the speaker in the picture belong to?

I checked on google and amazon,
some call it "party speaker", "2.0 DJ speaker system" or "karaoke speaker".

But I think they are much bigger than party speakers and karaoke speakers?

On the website of the Chinese speaker manufacturer AUSMAN,
I saw that it was classified into the category of Floor standing speaker.
Is it supposed to be the Floor standing speaker series?
Or call floor standing speaker with lights?

If anyone knows about this product, please leave a message and let me know.
Thanks.

Well the picture shows it on the floor, and depending on the size of the drivers, it looks like the tweeter will be close to ear height of you were sitting on a couch. So you could class it as "floor standing".

But the term "floorstander" doesn't make it an accurate loudspeaker for domestic reproduction of music. It might be an absolutely awful sounding floorstander only suitable for parties or karaoke.

Thank you very much for your answer.

I also agree with your statement.
This kind of speaker with party lights is just similar in shape to a traditional floor standing tower speaker.

I think the playback effect may be not as good as the floor speaker.

Are you sure that the total height of the speakers is not greater than 10"? ;)
Hi, Zek:

Acctually, I may not get your meaning.

But on AUSMAN page of this system says:" the power is 600 Watts, but I think it is the PMPO, not the RMS power.
Though they are 4*12 inch woofers, but power output is not as high as we except.

Therefore, the effect we get may get a loud sound:(

Well, their website doesn't seem to show any real pictures of the speakers - just photoshopped images where it's impossible to get a feel for their size.

They claim twelve inch woofers and 4 inch tweeters (4 inch tweeters!?!?! lol).

Sketchy Website Pics

I'd call it a dumpster fire...

Anyway, your categories don't have any clear definitions, so this thing can be anything the marketing department wants ;)

Agree no more.

There are too many classifications or names of speakers on the market.

And each company names its products according to its own marketing plan:oops:

Yeah, I think it's a wizzer cone, making this 4" tweeter really a 4" midrange with wizzer cone, and not a tweeter at all.

about $300 for this with 2 x 12"
it DOES get loud and has loud bass.
played with the tone controls once but couldn't get it to sound any decent lol.
I actually plan to use it as a subwoofer (low-passed) for an upcoming event we will have in the neighbourhoud lol

I'm guessing the big red plastic X is the cause of the bad sound. :)
Yea, I see a ton of these battery powered bluetooth speakers, (most with leds) in all of the stores.

the main issue lies with these inexpensive piezo tweeters. they may produce high volume, but their resonances are excessively loud, and I mean really loud. When I'm walking down the street and hear music, I can already tell it's one of these just by listening.

I think they don't even know what they're selling:

It's actually coaxial.
I didn't find this before you post the picture.

I think the person who built the website is not familiar with this industry, certainly not an engineer or other position, they just built a display website.
