I'm in the market for new speakers. I'm in the US (Florida) and was looking to spend about $1,000 per speaker.
Today I saw what seems to be a really good price for the Monitor Audio Bronze 500 6G. They are on sale for $444 each. Previously they cost more than $800 each here in the States. The salesperson told me that the 6G is being discontinued and a 7G version is coming. Thus, the reduced price.
The other speakers I was considering include the Dali Oberon 5, Wharfedale 12.3, Focal Theva No2, and Tekton M Lore. But those all cost far more than the sale priced Bronzes.
The speakers would be powered by an Outlaw Audio RR2160 receiver (110W per channel) and be placed in a room that is 15x26 feet.
I'm no audiophile, so I'd like to know what you think. Are the Monitor Audio Bronzes a good deal? Will they work ok with my receiver?
Thank you in advance for any guidance.
