That's $110. Also not suitable for in car use.I believe the best if not cheapest option for decent peq on iOS is to get a qudelix 5k dac /amp and connect either via Bluetooth or wired to the phone.
Why isn't it suitable for car use?That's $110. Also not suitable for in car use.
Can you plug it into the USB port in a car, feeding the car the digital signal?Why isn't it suitable for car use?

The 5K can be used for car audio by doing iPhone->Bluetooth->5K->Infotainment Line in.Why isn't it suitable for car use?
No. You'd have to plug the 5K's 3.5mm output into your car's Line/Aux in.Can you plug it into the USB port in a car, feeding the car the digital signal?
My car is fairly modern and only has USB-C inputs.The 5K can be used for car audio by doing iPhone->Bluetooth->5K->Infotainment Line in.
In that scenario, you can use the 5K's DSP for room correction and even disconnect the internal battery to preserve its capacity.
But if the Infotainment system doesn't have a Line in, or it's hidden someplace annoying, or the driver prefers using AirPlay, then the 5K isnt really an option anymore.
In that case, you cannot use the 5K for EQ.My car is fairly modern and only has USB-C inputs.
Have a look at CarPlay and/or Android Auto either using Bluetooth or USB.My car is fairly modern
What do you mean? I use CarPlay and Android Auto. I use USB Audio Pro with Android auto and music stored on my android phone. But sometimes I want to use the iPhone and Amazon Music has no EQ option in the iPhone app (Android version has EQ but it is a bit limited. Better than nothing though).Have a look at CarPlay and/or Android Auto either using Bluetooth or USB.
Thanks for the suggestions. I’m not going to jailbreak the phone my work issued me with though.@VientoB For FLACs and MP3s stored on your iPhone, you can use Neutron to apply EQ and play the tracks via CarPlay.
For Amazon Music, I currently see just two solutions:
1. Jailbreak the iPhone and install eqe.
2. Find a way to plug an Aux jack into your car, then use the Qudelix for EQ.
Amazon Music->EQ->CarPlayNot sure exactly what features you’re looking for
Missed that part, sorry.Amazon Music->EQ->CarPlay
