I’ve been planning to try a planar IEM myself to see how it really performs compared to a single DD. I’m also considering the LETSHURE S12 Ultra — curious how it stacks up in clarity, bass control, and soundstage. Which one would you recommend me?

I am currently sing Hidizs MP145 4.4mm version and they are excellent, I have never heard of or used LETSHURE S12 Ultra.

I have the Hidizs MP145 Pro backed and they were delivered 2,5 weeks ago.
For me they are "to spicy" - had to use the red "bass" filters and the bassheavy eartips to tame the treble and bring voices a bit forward. But voices keep sounding a bit wired and to much in the background.
usually I hear with DCA Aeon2 Noire and Letshour S12 (the original version) so I'm used to very detailed and bright sound - but this is to much for my ears.
I would try the S12 Ultra or the newer Astralis (but different driver type).
Also the Kiwi Ears Aether and 7Hz x Crinacle Divine are on my "watchlist"
If you like to try out planar IEM than I would recommend the Artti T10 (OG - not the newer pro) - very similar to the S12, same company, but cheaper plastic shell
