I'm not the one who posted the video here. I can guarantee you most people wont read the messageboard rules and conditions.
That's why we point them in the right direction when they post without following them. As @Jimbob54 did in the post you criticised. As I did in response to that critical post.

I think some people just want to share YouTube videos here and discuss them with other forum members.
Sure, but beyond the fact that it's against site policy, surely if the video is worth discussion it's also worth at least a short paragraph letting others know what about the video you find interesting and worthy of discussion, no?

I criticised the manner of his response.

Yes, we saw.

And given that @Jimbob54 was a mod at the time that post was made, you are also (ongoing) in violation of this rule:

Please do not argue with our volunteer moderators regarding their enforcement actions in the process of managing the forum.

I watch most of their videos to be honest as I think they're pretty good. I like ASR, The Headphone Show, Super Review. All good sources of information.
Me might have seen different sides of headphones.com. Regardless Hps.com is a relatively powerful commercial entity and it's reasonable to treat them with due scrutiny, providing them with undeserved revenue is a valid concern. Even more so when bad conduct has taken place in the past. Would you willingly promote someone who treated you or your loved ones badly, or crossed their boundaries? Most would not.

Super Review/Mark Ryan Sallee is an independent IEM reviewer. ASR is an independent resource concerning a broader scope of gear, and a direction that strongly favors objective metrics.

Other than the shared audio tech enthusiasm the comparisons only go skin deep.

This thread has a dubious origin and seems to have run its course.

Going to give it a rest. Likely a permanent one.
