Is my Emotiva BasX A2 limiting the performance of my Polk R700s?

It may be the Wiim Ultra, its inherent sound is "leaner" than high-end analog preamps, its digital tools can provide excellent control and impactful bass with a subwoofer. If not already tried, go into the Wiim settings and check the crossover, pick a lower level, 30Hz to 250Hz, then turn on the subwoofer bypass mode, and allow speakers to go full range. Hopefully, this will solve your issue. I doubt it’s the amp.

Where do people get this stuff? If the WIIM's frequency response is ruler flat, and it is, how is it possible for it to sound 'lean?'
