Is it worth measuring and EQing my IEMs & Over-Ear headphones with REW?

I have been thinking about measuring and EQing my Beyerdynamics DT 900 Pro X and ZiiGaat Nuo with REW.

Does this translate to noticable real-world benefits?

Probably not. Headphone measurement is "tricky" and I assume you don't have a proper measurement rig.

In case you don't know this, "flat" headphones don't normally sound right. And different listeners have different preferences. The Harman Preference Curve sounds right for most, but not all, listeners.

It's probably best to EQ by ear, or find headphones or in-ears that sound good to you without EQ.

My Plan is getting a UMIK-1 to use it in a silent room.

Beyerdynamic DT 900 Pro X already sounds good, but the goal is to improve the sound quality

That won't work... Headphones & in-ears "interact" with the shape and dimensions of the of the ear (something like the terrible acoustics of a tiny room) and there are special fixtures with artificial ears. Amir's fixture costs $15K !!! And there are still variations and uncertainties.
