Just keep in mind that in iOS you don't have manual control over the output sample rate. The default music player won't change the system sample rate to match the sample rate of music files you're playing, but there are specialized apps that can do it.

If you want to play newer AAA titles then the 13" is not the machine. Unless you want to use a streaming service like NVIDIA GeForce Now, which actually would save your storage space and not strain your system but it depends on your network connection
My inquiry was in regards to music listening, not gaming. I appreciate you input though, thanks.
