Its all good. Having said that I am not sure its the right group for me. Im not sure how I could done it differetly but I wasn't prepared for the reactions I got. Maybe I should have started with " Anybody know anything about DSD? Do you like it? Not sure the tone would have been any diferent.

Sorry I’m late to reply. It looks to me like you’re using only one of the two available inputs on your NAD. If that is the case, have you considered using a DSD capable DAC? Topping makes some that are less than $150. Others are available. Some folks have concern about long-term reliability, but it is an inexpensive way to dip your toe in the water. The other advantage is that you don’t need to switch your speakers between two different amps. The downside is that the setup wouldn’t include a Fosi. If you got the Fosi, then you wouldn’t need the NAD. Of course, the NAD is much more elegant, but it is rated at a bit less power than the Fosi, I believe. There are switches available that let you use two different amps with a single pair of speakers, but the one’s I’ve seen are rather industrial looking. Not really like the gear you have now.
Probably not then. I use SACDs for multich recordings that I can't find elsewhere, otherwiise I wouldn't bother. It's not magic or anything. Furutech is for idiots, though.

BTW, I don’t blame you for your reaction to the responses you’ve received here, but the folks really are helpful, and I think it’s the best place to turn for information. Some of the ideas can seem jarring when you first hear them, because it’s so different from most of what you read elsewhere. But the knowledgeable people won’t steer you wrong.

Yes, all of that! This kind of shit is maddening, quite frankly. It’s exactly the nonsense that this website was created for; to counter the marketing bullshit this industry has been peddling for decades with logic, reasoning and science. This means you don't have to take my word for it. There is loads to find on the topics already discussed right here on the forum, from blind tests, to studies, papers, reviews, and subject-matter experts in various fields such as electronics, physics, biology, and psychology.

No-one has judged you - many of us have been exactly where you are ourselves - believing some or all of the nonsense spouted in the mainstream audio press and by online "influencers" such as the one you have linked. How could we not when that is all we have seen. But we don't sugarcoat reality, or apologise for it - it is given straight.
