Both are the same SPDIF output.Or is the the RCA a second SPDIF out?
Input selection and remote control are absolutely feasible. Several control interfaces are planned. When a custom board becomes available, that is the point at which we will see onboard analog IO.I'm watching this project develop and I can honestly say this is amazing! If i summarize all the possibilities mentioned, I can envision one appliance i believe many here would like to see. Two RCA or I2S + RCA inputs, 2 RCA outputs (stereo pair + sub), some universal simple IR remote with input selection (RCA1, RCA2...) and global volume.
@Weeb Labs , do you think this is feasible at some point in the future?
Cheers!

Getting the firmware and Console applications as robust and mature as possible are my number-one priorities at the moment. After DSPi Console v1.1.0 for Windows is released, I will be dedicating most of my development time this weekend to quality of life and optimisation. For instance, device selection within Console needs to be implemented so that more than one connected DSPi can be controlled.Weeb, I think focus on an updated console first.
Is the plan to eventually put an option for a volume control pot? Perhaps a linear-taper single-gang 10k or 25k-ohm pot between 3V3 and GND and then have the wiper connected to one of the input pins which is a voltage sensor to drive the volume control. Maybe make <5% of 3V3 mute, >95% be -0 dB and have a 5%-95% do a -60 dB to -0 dB sweep. I don't know if it would be a problem, but would need to think about inertia and/or averaging on the digital signal samples so a noisy pot doesn't cause constant small volume fluctuations or quick mute/unmute on a dirty pot.
Very exciting stuff - I am waiting for 24bit Toslink input to be added and necessary hardware to get "in stock" at https://www.audiophonics.fr/en/opti...ical-toslink-input-socket-on-pcb-p-19144.htmlInput selection and remote control are absolutely feasible. Shouldn't you be targeting an optical receiver and the ASRC? The receiver without an ASRC will not be very useful for this.Very exciting suff - I am waiting for 24bit Toslink input to be added and necessary hardware to get "in stock" at https://www.audiophonics.fr/en/opti...ical-toslink-input-socket-on-pcb-p-19144.html![]()

I repeat the question because it's not answered? Is it possible to add 1st/2nd order All-pass filters to it?
Finally!!! Thanks for the hardwork can't wait to try it tonight..It is my pleasure to annouce the release of DSPi Console v1.1.0 for Windows. This release brings the application fully up to feature parity with the macOS version.
This release is currently in beta, so please don't hesitate to report any bugs that you encounter. Great care has been taken to ensure that all functions are robust but there are always small problems that don't become apparent until software is released into the wild.
Let's take a look!

Theming is very much in line with prior releases and the macOS version but various little usability improvements have been introduced.
The Matrix Mixer is now available, with all functionality present. Channels enabled and disabled here are reflected in the main application window sidebar and filter response chart.

Crossfeed, loudness compensation, expanded statistics and output pin reassignment are also available.

When importing DSPi standard filter collections, channels enabled in Matrix Mixer are checked by default, which I thought convenient.

I wish to sincerely thank every person who has graciously contributed to this project, whether in advice, bug reports, code contributions or funding. It is always greatly appreciated and I look forward to seeing just how far we are able to take DSPi.
As always, more to come.
PS: Please be sure to use DSPi Firmware v1.1.0.
GPIO 6, 7, 8, and 9 for SPDIF 1-4.
GPIO 10 for PDM.
Yes, is possible and will likely be implemented before too long.Is it possible to add 1st/2nd order All-pass filters to it?
You spoke earlier about adding a potentiometer, will this be a simple 3 wire POT or will there be digital conversion needed? It is my pleasure to announce the release of DSPi Console v1.1.0 for Windows. This release brings the application fully up to feature parity with the macOS version.
