Long interview touches on the analog to digital transition, the differing microphone arrangements by label, "perfect recordings" by dense editing, and artists he has recorded.

I'm always impressed with people who can do an interview in their second language and be so eloquent. The stories about splicing tape never get old for me. He blatantly says that vinyl doesn't sound as good at 14:44. Then he says how the stereo image isn't as wide on vinyl. That's gonna ruffle some feathers. He says that digital is now better than anything with the new technology. On the contrary, he doesn't like how much editing is done in the digital world and he prefers that people perform their parts more than just editing many takes together. "I prefer that the performance is the performance on this day."
I like that he still seems to love what he does after so many years. Truly inspiring.
