Teflon tube sockets with split-pin silver contacts: No please, give me plain ole Bakelite or Chinese ceramic instead.

The Western Electric monoblock is made by Canary Audio and those are Delrin not Teflon. It’s interesting because Delrin is worse for heat, but I believe the idea is that it reduces microphonics.

Like all tubes, it is more for collectible anachronism, but my understanding is that Canary Audio and McIntosh are two of the most reliable brands for tubes amps.

OK boys, we’ve reached maximum geek.

I've shared this photo of my Douglas Self-designed Precision Preamp before. PCB design by Gareth Conor and Douglas Self. As designed, all of the control potentiometers would have been soldered directly onto the circuit board. However, they favored obscure UK parts manufacturers, and the original pots were discontinued. Small secondary PCB is a band-aid designed to accommodate more common Alps pots. I'm glad that I purchased the custom housing while it was still available, because the large PCB isn't a drop-in fit for any generic metal case that I've encountered.

Knobs are affixed via collet rather than setscrew, and IMO, this is a very good thing.

They are made by Western Electric in Rossville Georgia.

That's a intriguing piece of gear. Not much in the signal path at all.
yes, when I opened it it made me smile, but everything is wired in the air and has no cards!!
subjectively it sounds good!! compared to my system clearly a bit of hiss comes from the speakers even if it is combined with a class D power amplifier!!

That looks like a Studer Revox integrated amplifier that I service decades ago. Gorgeous layout and stuff. :D
Very well built, has an external power supply, but the crazy thing is that the remote has a separate external power supply with a small connector located on the back….I had never seen anything like it.
