Hi All,
First of all I would like to say Hello to everyone, especially Amir who does a great work and whole society for meaningful discussions. I was a passive observer of this forum for years now.
Few words about myself. Audio engineering graduate, no longer working with acoustics. Music collector.
Finally, I hope, I ended in a place where I will spend at least some time so I could think of upgrading my audio setup.
Current setup is quiet budget, but what can I say, there are days when I'm super satisfied with it.
Loxije A40 + Elac EL 121 (early 90s), + Wiim Mini as transport + Denon DVD A11 + Old Unitra Adam turntable with red audiotechnica needle + some JVC and Harman Kardon CD91C decks.
I am thinking of getting a pair of Wharfedale Super Lintons, but looking at specs I'm afraid Loxije might not provide enough current.
The problem is the number of options I have to consider when upgrading.
Comfort wise, Loxije had all I need except lack of extra RCA pair so I don;t have to switch cables every time I want to listen to some tapes.
I really like the Idea of separating every part of system, I like the comfort of having all in one....
But seems there is nothing that would fulfill my needs in 100%. Or maybe I;m wrong ?
I would just add that I would need HDMI eARC at some point to plug in audio from projector.
I've seen Audiolab 7000a which is close to what I would like to see, but still. I'm afraid it wont provide enough power.
I've seen Yamaha A-S701, but it might need extra phono preamp and external DAC.
I like NcoreX, Hypex, Purify based power amps, but what preamp then ?
Budget is limited, let's say 2500-3000$ top. Also, I am a resident of Poland, so not everything might be available here.
Best Regards!
