Do you need only analog inputs, or digital inputs too... i.e. inbuilt DAC?
If analog only, this may well suffice;
This is a review and detailed measurements of the Yamaha A-S701 stereo integrated amplifier with included DAC and Phono stage. It is on kind loan from a member and costs US $800. The A-S701 is one of the best looking amplifiers I have tested. Yes the controls are plastic unlike the glory days...

If digital inputs are needed as well, maybe check out the WiiM... but a bit lighter on power output;
This is a review and detailed measurements of the WiiM Amp Pro networked streaming stereo class D amplifier. It was sent to me by the company and costs US $379. The package is minimalistic in nature and matches the "non-pro" version of the amplifier. The volume indicator is that set of LEDs...

Good suggestion in itself but regarding WiiM Amp Pro remember that TS wrote:
I need the opportunity to play with our turntable.
If WiiM Amp Pro is chosen, TS needs to buy an external phone pre amp. And WiiM Amp Pro only has one input, which, if TS or TS family, wants to switch between, for example, streaming and turntable, it becomes cumbersome. In that case, the Yamaha you recommended is a much better choice given its inputs.
How loud are you looking to go? The speakers list 88dB for efficiency so unless you like your ears to bleed they should be pretty easy to power.
I've run my CM5 S2 which are rated about the same off of a 7 watt tube amp and it goes louder than I want most of the time.
I wonder if it might not be stressful in the long run for a tube amp because those speakers seem to dip down to 3 Ohms? But if you haven't experienced any problems, you haven't.
Otherwise, I had looked at an amp with the desired functions, inputs (also digital?), maybe remote control around at least 70 watts. Or fewer watts, if it is not played at such a high volume in the TS home.
As TS is thinking about a used one, in that case in that case, I recommend an amp from recognized good brands such as Yamaha or NAD. Class AB amp in that case. Not any old class D amp. New class D, now that the development of class D has progressed, is another matter.
Edit:
Here's a tip if TS find an amp that has several inputs but no phono input. Like for example a Nad C325 BEE (basically the same as the Nad 320 that Amir tested, 67 watts when clipping).Here's a fully functional used one for $130, in Denmark:
Then just add this to be able to play vinyl:
This is a review and detailed measurements of the Fosi Audio Box X5 stereo Phono stage. It was sent to me by the company and costs US $109.99. Company manages to bring a touch of class in a category that is universally utilitarian with those rounded corners and orange power button. Flexibility...
