Finally people on the same level as me .
I witnessed a crazyness recently, sharur youtuber, the one who loves cold cuts, went from nova, then to variations now came down to a 10$ earphone. Like literally he dismissed variations iem and also he explains why this samsung eo ia500 sounds better. Hes not getting on my nerves, i got few sound engineer friends, they validate him.

Guys am getting a jbl 305p mkii, am getting these only to listen to music, is it possible to use ibasso jr macaron dacs balanced output with these speakers. Newbie and i need some advicr on this. Also are there any other speakers to consider in its price range. Please let me know.

The JBL 305 are decent monitors.
Just take into consideration they hiss a little when used as nearfields.
At least the the early ones did. Don't know if the mkII also hisses audible.

Sharur is an acquired taste.

Yes, the 305 mkII has balanced inputs (TRS and XLR)

Hiss is not good. Am gona be sitting atleast 1.5m away from it. Anyway i will look into it.
Yes balanced outputs. I got that. But my doubt primarily is arent dacs and there output line out only made for driving headphones and iems. This sounds silly but these are my first studio monitors and i dont want to drown them. Just being extra careful.

Balanced outputs for DACs are intended to be connected to (pre)amps and active speakers.
Best not use the headphone outs as inputs for active speakers but in your case you would need to as that is the only output available.
As the DAC isn't loaded with a headphone it will basically be as good as a line-out in signal quality.
You will need a 4.4mm to 2x XLR cable.
Best to use balanced for monitors as that reduces chances of hum (ground loops).

alternatives: Kali LP6 2nd wave and Adam T5V

At my place the lp6 or even adam audio per unit closely stack up to the price of a jbl 305p mkii pair. I dont know how those are alternatives.
