Yeah, you're probably the only one who's heard this.
You are forgetting the owner who sent it in. Regardless, you are going to "trust" my ears, right?

Now they're suddenly experts.
Some of us *are* experts. My team at Microsoft developed and managed the entire audio stack in Windows. What is your expertise in how the data and clock pipeline work in a DAC?

I think I'll just stop here. You guys can't stand criticism and don't acknowledge that many people think it's a good product.

My ears.

Goodbye
It's you that are angry and do not answer questions.

So no expertise to understand that technically, this device cannot do anything for the audio fidelity of the DAC. Therefore, anything that is perceived as an improvement is false due to improper testing.

We stand it fine. I also spent a lot of time testing it and producing a video about it. But a device needs to do what it claims to do and this one doesn't. Your anecdotal, subjective data is without value as proven over and over again. We exist because we produce reliable information about audio products. So unless you want to keep your head in the sand permanently, I suggest you read and understand what is being said here.

Your seems to bee a troll pressing this but I’ll answer anyway as if you where serious ….

No one doubts that that there are many who bought this and thinks it’s a good product. Ofcourse these snake oil products always find customers, have you bought one yourself ? it s same thing with people buying fake medicines and insisting it works for them.
You can find happy customers to all snake oil audio products , the maker of things like this are always plastering their website with testimonials from happy customers. But these are just anecdotes they carry no real information they are not even wrong as such listenings test are so poorly done. It’s almost the opposite you know they wrong because they heard the difference .
In reality these are the “marks” and the seller is the “con artist” , is this a familiar setup to you :)

However in reality it does not change the sounds as it has no mechanisms by which it could do this with a properly functioning DAC ,which is almost all DAC’s nowadays . It simply can’t work you realise this with very rudimentary engineering skills ( like me , engineer, but not audio ).
The probability that this product does something useful is exceptionally low .

Another Angryhile. Who cares?

These test of products like this that amir has to waste his precious time on is a public service to expose products like this for what they really are.

It’s needs to be done on some regular basis .

As I mentioned earlier, there are many people who are satisfied with this product.
Doesn't mean anything.
I think I'll just stop here.
Probably for the best.
You guys can't stand criticism
Nothing to do with that... we expect test results that align with your assertion. Did you not notice the word "science" in the forum title when you joined last year?
Don't let the door hit you on the way out now. ;)

What criticism? “Because I say so”, isn’t criticism.

don't acknowledge that many people think it's a good product.
The fact that we have this review right here exposing the snake oil should be acknowledged enough.

So if it aligns with “your ears” it’s fine to reference others, but if it doesn’t, it’s not?

As for your ears, they are not the problem. Your brain (and that of every other human), is!

I bet this guy has come over from the Innuos forum, where this review was posted a week or two back.
Probably posting there right now about how we're so critical and won't listen to unsubstantiated claims. Then there will be a page or 2 of people patting him on the back, then the following posts suggesting it's great and everyone should get one... i.e. shills.

I suspect our Innuos loving friend is SchiitMjolnir2 from the Innuos forum. There was reference to setting up an ASR account to pitch up for a fight. It got pretty heated over there pretty quickly. All of the usual subjectivist posturing - "Golden Ears" ridiculing science based on years of being into hi-fi and outlandish claims of jitter over async USB. There are very good reasons why I stay away from other hifi discussion groups.....

Strange that they keep repeating the tired line of "you have to listen" but ignore that I did listen! And did not like the degradation in sound! Seems folks protest before even reading what is linked to.
