So, to be honest i am not sure if i really need an DAC/headphone amp combo, let me explain.

So first of all i dont not listen quite that often to music, actually let me rephrase that, i dont use my PC that often, but when i use it i rather have all the things i need.
I mainly use it to game, and when i game i use my Sennheiser GAME Zero with some cheap unnamed TRRS usb dongle. I want something else like a good mic with the headphones i use.
Last year or so i bought an HIFIMAN Ananda Stealth V3 (these became cheap lmao) in combination with the Moondrop Dawn PRO USB-C amp for convenience with my phone, and to be honest i dont use it a lot on my phone and rather use it on my PC. Got myself a nice balanced cable 4.4mm to go along with it, and thats about it.

So i am able to use my headphones to it fullest, BUT, there's always the big BUT, i rather have something dedicated for it, so i was looking around for a headphone amp that also uses USB for the best connection i guess in combination with a balanced output, so i searched for something under 200 euro, and failed to find anything that looked spectacular, the eye also wants something.

With alot of searching around the forums i found the Topping DX5II, which seems perfect in any case for me, a bit higher than the 200 euro budget i set myself on, but now my case rests, do i actually need it? :) .. i am genuinely wandering what you would do.

Keep in mind the gaming part, so i need something to go along with a dedicated mic as well.

Thanks for reading.

It seems that you want a USB mic? Otherwise, what you need is an audio interface rather than a DAC.

This sounds a lot like the Fosi K7 Gaming DAC and HP Amp review.

That's a bit confusing... Dedicated to the Hifiman and the computer??? What are you "missing"?

The headphone output on your PC may be good enough as long as it goes loud enough and there is no background noise.

Fiio K7 seems a good choice for your Anandas, now that you have a balanced 4.4 cable.
