The speaker rattle could be from some defective input.

Krk 10-3 G4 and KH80 work properly from the same input, so no. Besides tried a different interface in case it has issues with Yamaha one and exact same. Definitely broken driver or amp. Neumann asked to return it immediately after I mentioned symptoms and that they had a similar issue in the past which is caused by the speaker shipping in the wrong orientation which is why they tell sellers to ship on a mini pallet. Thomman just puts in another cardboard box.
