Impulse bought Revel F35s and I don’t know what to do with them

I have a 3.1 setup consisting of an Infinity RC263, flanked by the timbre-matched R162. The sub is a PB-1000 Pro and my receiver is a Denon AVR-X4000.

While shopping for surrounds, I came across a pair of Revel F35s for $580 total, which I thought was too good too pass on. The C25 is the matching center, but it’s a two-way speaker. I can’t afford a C208 currently, and I’m not sure how well Revel lines mesh together.

Would a C25/F35 setup outperform my 263/162 setup for HT or should I just sell the Revel’s? Also, could I use the F35’s as surround until I can afford the better C208?

Use the F35s as your fronts with the RC263, demote your R162s to surround duty. I wouldn't bother with any Revel center short of the C208 (over your RC263).

This is the way. The RC263 is a great pairing with the F35s, as I found out firsthand.
