So here I am... building my first pair of subwoofer ported boxes. (Pair)

Oh speaker Gods, please take a look at my attached pdf and give me your blessing on design.

My goal was to have a large ported box that matches the speakers qualities.

Are you sure you need ported boxes? Will you use them outside or in a large hall?
At home I use boxes without holes. 18" pro drivers, 200 liters each box.

Thanks! I settled on a much smaller box with a smaller 15 driver. Sealed

'How much internal bracing is too much?'

I already purchased some Siless Max 120 mil (3mm) 30 sqft Car Sound Deadening mat - Butyl sheets.

My plan is to put these in each box evenly.

Then take some polyfill (I have old pillows) stuffing and install inside box.

However I have some odds and ends of wood left over. For example the cutouts for speakers etc.

Is it wise to put this in random spots around the inside cabinet?
