After spending a lot of time and money with this hobby I think that I can define my IEM/Headphones axioms.
1. There is no correlation between price and sound quality.
2. There is no a perfect sound headphones/IEM. Each have some frequency response flaw.
3. Every IEM/headphones will benefit from some EQ.
4. The most important aspect of sound quality is the frequency response assuming the THD is acceptable.
5, Every IEM/Headphones with the same type can sound very similar if EQ to the same target.
6. As usual there is a lot of snake oil in the IEM/Headphones business.
Thoughts , Opinions?
