Ideal volume setting for an odac on Windows 10?

Hi

I was just wondering what would you say the ideal volume settings is for an odac on Windows 10? JDS labs suggests slightly under 100% but how far under? 98? 96? 90? What is the ideal balance between overhead and dynamic range? (I'm currently using 96%)

I use 100% in all my DACs. Just use the Windows volume mixer to adjust the volume of specific apps. At 100% in the OL DAC, my speakers are volume calibrated around 74 dB (pink noise) in JRiver -- higher with other apps. Same with Headphone amps. I set and fix my HP amp at a certain max dB SPL -- and normally adjust the volume digitally.
