ICEpower Conductor

Is there any information about when the upgrades to the 700as modules are gonna hit?
Send SoundImports an email and ask them if their current stock is the new ones or if they know when they will be updated. They got back to about the 125asx2 fast.
It looks like the 125asx2 was updated months ago so there's a little bit of hope.

I'll be very interested when or if the 1200, 400a2 and 300a2 are updated although they all test and sound good enough as they are. If someone already has a 1200as2 and wanted another two channels they are a bargain.

The 700as2 currently in stock at Parts Express and Sound Imports are not the ICC5 Conductor topology modules. I have purchased from both suppliers in the past 2 weeks. I’m really not sure if there even are ICC5 700as2 Conductor modules in the wild yet. ICEpower admin don’t usually reply to the lay man’s enquiry (which is fair enough I guess) so how can we know?

Sounds Imports said they’re months away at best. I enquired multiple times asking them to double check the modules they had because the photos on the product pages are of the ICCX ver. F modules. They assured me the stock is ICC5 and the photos haven’t been updated yet. I ordered only to receive the ICCX ver. F modules. They were very apologetic and are doing their best to accommodate a fair replacement solution but yeah…no 700as2 Conductors, yet.

Parts Express are also ICCX ver. F

They'll hit the market and we will have no clue when it actually does. Weird business model. They must have a reason for having utter contempt for the DIY enthusiasts

I bet they know that the differences won't be audible. It's only to "on specs" battle sales with Hypex and Purifi. To please the numbers people.
The edge versions are geat value and sound amazing.

Far as I know, the 1200as2 has the ice edge but the 700as2 doesn’t have edge. Unless I am mistaken?

I remember there was a video of someone comparing all 3 and the Icepower was rep’d by the 700as2 and many were bitching that it didn’t have edge and hence was an unfair comparison.

current 700as2 is ICCX (just a combo of chips ICC1, ICC3 etc). ICCX is great used within its limits, gets a bit crowded when it clips imo. The newer chipsets sound better when they clip according to ICEpower.

I’m keeping the ICCX 700as2 I’ve ended up with. They’re solid little amps, couldn’t send them back.

Can you share pictures of your build, if that’s okay?
Wondering which case you used along with connectors and harness.

Haven’t used these ones yet, they’ll be vertically mounted on some sinks in an mdf box with bottom->top airflow. Not paying for a case that cost as much as the module. Just using the ICEpower harnesses and some left over Neutrik bits.

So current Parts Connection's stock is a new conductor version?

Hello everyone.
how do you recognize the new conductor modules from the old version?

Good morning, do you know if the 700as1/2 series has the biquad circuit?

Parts Express is still selling old versions. I've got 3E audio instead.

Partsexpress has the new version of the 125asx2 boards. I grabbed 2 of them to make monoblocks. The pics on their website are of the old version (they haven’t updated it)

As for the 700as boards I don’t know but I’d wager a guess probably not. (I haven’t even seen pics of old vs new for 700as2, only for the 125asx2

When? I contacted them a few days ago, and they say they don't have any new versions.

"Our stock does appear to be version 1.9. You may need to order version 2.2 directly from ICEPower as they may still be working through the old stock."

About 3 months ago. I’ll ride cash they don’t know they have it (believe me I was shocked when mine arrived and it was the new version. I originally didn’t care as I was going to use it as a bass guitar amp. I then ordered another one and sure enough, a new version (with the small rectangle chip) again, hence now I have matching monoblocks that I can still use as a bass amp as well

For reference here is a video I did assembling it and not knowing it was new. Can clearly see the section that indicates it (2 minutes in is best).
