Best way to use them when such power is demanded is in mono.Cost is a thing though if you use many,either 2000as2 or 1200as2.
And you have to use different wall sockets by pair as they reach the limit of mains 16A wall sockets.
You don't change anything,just use it as is with one channel connected.I have tried it and found out I don't need so much power so I sticked with one 1200as2 and I hooked a 300a2 on it.

I have Magnepan 1.7 and have gone from a 2000as2 in stereo to two mono amplifiers (2x2000as) - this works very well, I hear a big difference both in timing and stereo perspective.

Have you tried active cooling on these?
I would thing that a big CPU cooler that can handle the big threadripper CPUs would be able the get rip of some the heat and therefore increase the continuous power output.
Those coolers can handle 300watts and at 1200 watts one channel driven you have to dissipate about 300 watts on the spec sheet. A cooler is about €50-150 and are pretty quiet
