I would like to ask about using Monitor Speaker for Entertainment

Hi, I had try Adam Audio T5V and I like the speaker I like the detail, the clarity etc. everything was so clear and bright, but I think it lack the low end characteristic for the Entertainment use ( Movie, Music, Gaming ) watching movie with it sound strange, and some music that needed to be punchy doesn't sound good. Since i think it was a very nice speaker i was thinking if i use the T5V and added a sub would the sub help fill in what it lack? or maybe there is thing that can be added to support the T5V to make it useable for entertaining purpose? or maybe there is a better pair of speaker that could get the job done.

Hi @RoyaleTempo! Welcome to ASR.

The T5V is a fine speaker no matter the use case (production or entertainment).

Regardless, a subwoofer or two and DSP for room correction, loudspeaker correction, and sub integration, will always be needed for the best sound.

That is true even for speakers costing many thousands.
