Another thing that seems to be (may be) missing in the discussion in this thread would be lack of (or little of) real/actual cases of objective measurements on transient behaviors (kick-up and fade-out, measured using microphone) of our/your own subwoofers and woofers.
Even though we can have various theoretical and general discussions for the sake of "discussion", I, at least myself, would like to see more evidence-based individual case reports and specific discussion thereof with our/your own audio setup in our/your own room/furniture acoustic environments.
