I need some help with IEMs and a dac

I have aful performer 5+2 IEMs/Qudelix 5k combo that I use to watch movies and tv shows when my wife is sleeping. If I got a DAC like a topping or a smsl, would I hear a difference in sound or is the Qudelix with the usb in function good enough?

It doesn't measure as well as some of the best desktop DACs, or dongles. However, if it gets loud enough for you, and you aren't bothered by any noise or hiss, I doubt you'd notice much, if any, difference with movies and TV.

No need to change for TV watching. Best to do is to set up the headphone curve to your headphones.
