I need advice (looking for new studio monitors).

The Jbl monitors with a bit of dsp do compete for a fraction of the price. The 308p mark II's+ Subs could be a good option. Not as good as Neumann's though, not sure how much of a difference you would hear, at some point you're gonna have to try for yourself to judge.
I understand that the distortion graphs for JBL speakers are quite mediocre, is that correct?

What about the Kali in8 2wave setup plus two Kali WS12 subwoofers plus Arc Studio? Is that a significant drop in quality compared to Neumann or Genelec?

They're not great distorsion measurements for sure, but with a subwoofer you won't have this problem as it's mostly due to the handling of low frequencies.
Kalis measure well , you'll have to find someone who has experienced both on this forum, if my memory's good it won't be too hard.
Both JBL and Kalis are some of the best price/performance ratio you can get out of monitors.
That said if I were you I'd wait for the Palmer Orbit 11 cardioid studio monitors review. 1600€/pair, and very promising, hope we'll get a review soon.

And what about the high frequencies in the Kalis? They don't show up very well in the graphs. My question is, are these peaks and dips audible in the end?

Probably won't be audible, it's nothing big.

At close range on axis response rules, so a 5dB drop around 10k would probably be audible, but I'm not sure it would stand out.

I'm waiting for it too :)

I’m thinking about the LSX 2 for a little room adjacent to my office, did your version performed well before its departure?

I have the original LSX which are known to have an issue on the power supply board. Kef have never acknowleded it as far as I know or offer a solution. They will all die prematurely if used regularly. Not sure if there was a fix on the LSX2.

I was more interested in your listening experience, excuse me if I didn’t express myself properly.

But is interesting to know that issue, as they’re not cheap.

Ah, got you.
Really nice on my small desk office set-up. I like the coax driver, and bass is just adequate.
For cheaper my IN5 is way way better though - at least for me.

Yes sir, but they don’t play at the same league…
:)
I was searching something smaller. I have G Two (Genelec 8020D home version), but I want better decorative integration and coaxial for ambient music of the room.

Possibly with a WiiM sub pro, or an SVS 3000 micro, both in white.
