I have never understood!

I am thanking everyone who responds to the thread. However, I am so far out of my comfort zone that I can only assume you are all replying in English?
You don’t need any special equipment to evaluate your power needs.

Just listen at your typical volume with the music you usually play. The most revealing material is music that combines deep bass beats or basslines with clean, detailed elements like female vocals or synths -commonly found in EDM, electronica, or modern pop.

It’s important that the bass hits occur at the same time as these clean sounds. If the bass is isolated, you likely won’t notice even hard clipping, since distortion in low frequencies is much harder to detect by ear.

Alternatively, use an amplifier with clipping lights for a more objective check.

Cheers Brad. Great advice. However, if the Quads go on and on, they really do seem perfect for me, with the two REL subs set quite low.
