I don't want to receive emails

I have the opposite, can anyone shed any light on this for me please?

I am subscribed to emails on all threads, but I don’t get any. Apart from the odd one or two that come through.

By the time I get an email, it’s about x number of posts down, and I’m not kept up to date as the thread develops.

Anyone know why this is happening, please? It doesn’t keep me engaged in the thread and I kind of lose track of things, unfortunately.

I checked but don't see anything on the admin front to cause that. Just to be sure, you have checked your spam folder?

ok, thanks. And that email came through straight away, but It's so inconsistent. Yes, I've checked the spam folder.

I don't know why it does this, it's very off-putting. The same happened with another forum, and we never got to the bottom of it. I'd love to stay up to date with instant emails. I certainly interact more that way. And this is becoming one of my favourite forums now.

I’m even tempted just to start a new account to see if the problem gets solved, but I would be starting from scratch then
