Yeah, windows are bad for both soundproofing and for movies, and this is a dedicated soundproof theater. The soundproofing lets me listen at full volume any time I want without disturbing the neighbors in their house that's 10 feet from mine. Most of the time the room has no lights on and movies are being watched. I really do wish the room could have been bigger, but it was the available space I had to work with in the basement of my smaller city home, and I wasn't going to move to the burbs just for a bigger theater. For me, it was this small little theater or none at all. I'm jealous of people that get to pick the size room they have to work with when they build their theater, but most of us just gotta worth with what we have. I hear ya though, the room would have been vastly improved in many ways in a world without space constraints.
