Hallo everybody in the DIY world. I see that I can really save some money by buying DIY modules at audiophonics here in France. I will buy my WiiM Ultra and was thinking about two FOSI AUDIO V3 MONO but I see that I can get more for the money buying two DIY 3E AUDIO 480-1-29A PFFB MONO. Where can I find information on how to put these amplifiers in a box and connect cables ? Thank you. Raymond

Under the 'Download' tab on the product page at audiophonics you'll find the datasheet for the modules. This includes mechanical drawings, electrical connectors and their pinouts, and electrical specifications.

Don't start with DIY if you have no idea what you are doing. Unless it is a complete kit you might be looking at module which is cheaper but needs other components to work. Just buy a prebuilt amp and be happy

The datasheet is fairly simple as these things go, so this level of DIY may a bit too advanced to start with. That's especially true where mains electricity is involved - if you don't know what you're doing then don't touch it as it could kill you. It would be possible to do a build with external brick style PSUs, but they can deliver a lot of current so you still need to be careful even though the voltage is less dangerous.

For some indication of what's involved have a look at this build using the same amp modules. It uses internal PSUs rather than the external ones, so does involve mains voltage wiring.

You can buy the 3E amps pre-built as well. I don't think they are too expensive.

Ok I got your, I will calm down :)
and buy a box all equipped.

I hesitate between :
the stereo amp : 3E Audio A5 and
two monos like : Fosi V3.

Both will be fine.my gut feeling is 3e Audio will last longer statistically. The reason is DIY has been reviewed heavily by DIYers, and they will call out any bad design.
