What brand class-D chip are they using? Does anyone know?

Looking at the specs this must be one of the best amplifiers ever made!
none..

Gonna add an external tube buffer

Why to get an amp without noise and distortion and afterwards add noise and distortion by tubes?
This looks strange to me. If you like noise and distortions better get a tube amp and save the money for the NCx500 ;)

Lots of noise and distortion added, no doubt about it. I just gave an alternative, not that I would use it myself. :)

Plugins are the way to go..
I found Pro Tools Into that supports AAX plugins for free :)
Does anyone of you know if I can connect a USB Audio interface to my Win PC and run the AAX plugin from digital in to digital out via this interface in realtime?

Edit:
Can virtual Audio cable be used with it and what about Roon integration?

I don't see why not and I use VAC in my Church setup to route signals to my stream and then back out to the live audience feed. As for ROON it should work the same as using VST plugins, but hopefully someone who is a regular room user or developer can chime in

Hi,
Owner of a NuPrime mcx-2, would upgrading to an Audiophonics model equipped with the NCx500 chip (LPA-S600NCX) be a positive step in terms of sound quality for powering Focal Aria 948 speakers?
Thanks for your help..

It's a discrete design with mosfets in an SMD package, on the lower board of the module. The Mosfet transistors are OEM build said Bruno in some interviews while he was still working there (long ago). Purifi and Hypex (Ncore and UcD) use the same core technology designed by him, but Hypex finetuned it further when he had left to found Purifi to keep up with his new brand.
