Hypex NCx1000 OEM

Is it ok to use ncx500 and ncx1400 without evaluation board but some cheaper alternative like simple pcb layout with IN/OUT connectors and gain selection.
Cant justify the price costing as amplifier itself and in that case seems better to go with Nilai.
1. "Gain selection" and "cheaper alternative" do not fit together
2. A lot of finished NCx500 based amps are cheaper than a Nilai DIY kit
3. You can't buy NCx500/NCx1400 as an individual

3. Have option to buy individual components at lower cost.
2. Its indeed cheaper but want to say that maybe is worth it, comparing to finished amps kit prices I think definitely worth it.
1. Board looks like 5$ worth of components and looks half of them is not needed in usual setup, dont see anything special about it.

I did find a kit which seems is using board that only provides path for connectors without any active component, so it should even be possible to solder wires on amplifier directly but that would be dumb.

Also looks like you know better and that there is no reason spending time answering your question.

Thats obvious since big part of this board is not in use looking at finished amplifiers.
There is definitely no reason spending time and still not answering the question.
This board cost about 200 bucks and think it could be useful for some to have alternative solution of connecting that doesnt cost as amplifier itself.

That Hypex NCX evaluation board have some secondary options not used by oem in their finished version of this amp.
Most OEM's use their own boards. I would expect those using the NCx Eval board are trying to keep things super simple, hence maybe not offering extra features
