I'm not qualified enough to dispute that - even though it does sound (Because if we have mono bass and we drive the channels in opposite polarities, one channel will be drawing power from the +ve supply rail while the other will be drawing from the -ve rail. If they both are driving in the same polarity, then they will be both be drawing power from the same rail, and result in a higher demand from the power supply.
If that is true, are you telling me this musically simple piece of intentional stereo bass is not placing higher, but actually lower demands on amplifiers and their PSUs? If so, that would be great news. (@boXem too). Would love to hear from amplification professionals, about how my amateur stereo phase experiments influence power loads. After all, off-phase, high power load (i.e playing "big bass") isn't trivial, but an essential part of electro music.
