I'm looking to replace my amplifier that is responsible for the bass driver (8 Ohm) in my speakers. I'm trying to find a used pair due to costs.

I'm looking at either Hypex NC2K or Powersoft DigiMod 3004PFC2. The later because I can currently find it ready built for sale used; there are no used amps with the Hypex NC2K module for sale near me at the moment. I landed on these two as I'd like to have plenty of headroom and clean power.

Specs of Hypex: https://www.hypex.nl/media/65/e1/0f/1646058798/NC2k_datasheet_R6.pdf

Specs of Powersoft: https://www.powersoft.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/powersoft_DM3004PFC2_uguide_en_v0.1_WEB.pdf

Would anyone be able to tell me if there is any drastic or important difference between them that would make me want one over the other? I read the review of the Hypex on this forum, but I coudn't find any review with any Powersoft.

Hope to gain some wisdom:=)

The Powersoft is more pointed for pro audio and so have a noisy fan in it, the Hypex NC2K doesn't. Concerning sound qualitty the Powersoft is probally not on the level of the Hypex, but i'm quiet sure it's still high quality like all powersoft modules. I've never seen it tested, but from use i can say that powersoft has a low distiortion, a very low for pro audio and is well build; But we lack extensive measurements of this kind of higher quality pro audio amps (powersoft, lab gruppen, MC², ... ) on this site. This is also audio, but as nobody sends them to Amir they don't get tested...
