I always loved the Jupiter 16 capture, especially the air-line being cut.

Incredible accomplishments. I'd love to see space exploration higher on our priority list than it is today.
The excitement of the 1950-1980s is a shame to have lost.

I'd like to see more interest in looking after our own planet.

That should be plan A. Space exploration is plan B for when we make Earth uninhabitable.

All sort of reasons why we may have to leave the earth at some point, just ask the dinosaurs.

Wife number 3 on the rampage, fuel it up baby time to blast off.

It’s aspirational and unifying, whats not to like , maybe the cost but possibly there’s a higher cost in not pursuing it.

The synchronized vertical landing a several months ago of the Space X rockets was the best and most exhilarating thing I've seen this century. If that didn't inspire thousands of wide-eyed kids around the globe to take an interest in rockets and space, I don't know what would.

It made me feel like a kid again just seeing it.

Problem as I see it is the news media just doesn't make a big deal about it.
Nothing like the excitement and support shown in the prior years
It's just not in their politically correct wheelhouse.
