How to use this site to select components to buy?

I am new to this forum. I saw a couple of Amir’s videos and it’s obvious that he knows what he is doing and talking about.

Now I looked on this site for recommendations about speakers and other components. I see lots of detailed reviews but somehow I don’t know how to search i.e. for the best speakers up to 3000 USD.
I looked at the speaker ranking page and I see the scores. But it seems these scores are not absolute. The top speaker with sub in that list is the Genelec 8030C for 700 USD. Is that really the best speaker Amir ever tested? Obviously it’s good to know if a speaker for 700 USD is very good for that price. But I am more interested if it is better than i.e. the Genelec 8341A for 2,950 USD with the same score.

Is here anywhere a list with the best speakers in general for for budget x?

And when I see the list I see all the brands and models. And I can copy and paste that information and search for it. Is there anywhere a click-here-link to get directly to the test on this site?

Additionally to above are here some articles like: If you want to spend up to 10,000 USD in total here is a list of good and matching components.

I like to learn and I am willing to read a lot. But here is so much information that I better focus how I spend my time.

Thanks

It's not the right place if you are searcing a magic click. On the other hand, there are objective measurements (pricless) and free advices.

Sorry to say it, but it takes an effort/time to make a wise choice

Thanks Cc-Mode, I understand that concept.
And like I wrote above I am willing to read and learn. I just read 26 pages about the Topping A30Pro DAC. Great, interesting. But if there are i.e. 10 more DACs should I really read xx pages of reviews for each of them? We all have limited time and I am sure what I am asking about is something lots of readers want to know: What are my options for budget x?

Check the speaker and electronics rating pages and find the highest SINAD that meets your budget, volume and power requirements. That's the absolute dead simple way if you're not interested in getting into the weeds of it all.

It's also worth reviewing the limits of audibility summary posting, especially if your first few selections give you sticker shock. Depending on a variety of factors such as age and use case, the real world difference between SINAD of 110 and 90 isn't as big as you'd think especially if it saves you significant $$$

Sorry, I'm on mobile so I can't easily link you to these but they are all stickied on the landing page. If you can tell us a little about your room, listening habits, and budget - you know how it is on the internet, people love to make suggestions.

You shouldn’t put too much trust in the speaker preference scores—there has been much debate about it, but the TL;DR is that it’s incomplete, borrowed from someone else, and doesn’t take some important aspects into account. In any case it isn’t an official ASR recommendation score.
You also probably don’t need to read the entire thread on a product unless you’re specifically interested in that product or have some questions about the way it works (features, updates, etc.). You’ll probably get 95% of the information you need from the review itself.

Thanks for all your replies.

I have to admit before I wrote my original post I only looked at the speaker section and they don't have a SINAD score and I am confused about the speaker score.
I saw a few of Amir's videos. It seems I am one of the few people who saw his videos first and then came to this website.
And I understand from him that humans are absolutely best case able to detect 115dB. And I am not the youngest guy anymore and I am probably able to hear a lot less. Maybe I should let a doctor check my ears first and save some money. ;)

My room does not exist until now. I plan to buy a condominium sometime later this year and possibly I have to renovate that first. Currently I think about having mostly one big room (maybe something like 80 sqm) for living. I think it's called open space concept. There won't be a dedicated listening room.

My budget is also not really fixed. Until now I think all in all 10,000 USD should be enough. I also like the idea of DIY and I think about building amplifiers from Neurochrome neurochrome.com and maybe DIY speakers. My electronic skills are not bad and I also know that there are lots of limitations what an amateur can't do.

All in all this will all take some time and I like to be thoroughly informed before I start buying. There is nothing worse than buying this great device X only to find out a week later that Y is so much better and even cheaper. So I will spend some time on this forum and mostly I will read what Amir and other experts have to say.
