How to protect exposed copper wires and input ports from oxidation

Can we use silicon grease and rub it on the ports where the exposed wire goes? Will it affect anything? They are too small to be used for banana plugs and such.

Dirt and moisture also makes the RCA port go weird on the conductor side. Anyway to protect these?
 
Unplug amp with speakers connected, turn on and volume up to drain caps then down and off. Disconnect, tin wires with solder and spay them and contacts with this.

I have found WD-40 contact cleaner as this one costs $50 here. And What about those wire portals? Can I use silicon grease there?

That only cleans but it should help if used a few time a year, spray both wires and contacts (ports). Light bulb grease could be used for protection.
 
Unless you live in a corrosive environment (e.g. the beach, or on a boat) I would suggest it's not something you really need to worry about. You might consider using ferrules (with a decent crimper).
 
i dont buy any electroincs with spring clips

unless you live near the beach or in super tropics i dont think rear panel oxidation is an issue

eg. i inherited some gear from a family member who lived on the water who was leaving the country and yeah some of his electronic shit did have some corner and connector corrosion
 
Mostly you're exaggerating the need.
