The RME ADI-2 has a good and highly adjustable implementation. It becomes more aggressive tbe more quietly you play, but also allows you to adjest it to the sensitivity of your system. If you are playing very efficient speakers in a small room the electrical output of the amplifier may be low, but the spl may be high so you will need a small boost compared to playing inefficient speakers in a big room.
